BRIC: Major Economic indicators

The four countries of Brazil, Russia, India and China are sometimes grouped together as the BRIC countries. They are all in a similar stages of economic development. Although there is no formal association between the countries there have been indications that they may want to form an organisation in the future. In 2009 the leaders of the BRIC countries held a summit and called for the formation of a multipolar world order.
