Road traffic accidents and casualties, Great Britain

The DFT publishes very detailed information, collected by the police, on road traffic accidents in Great Britain. Statistics for Northern Ireland are published by another body. There is also some data collected by the hospitals which shows different trends than the police data - a topic for easy comparison has been prepared and can be found here.
