The United States of America, also referred to as the United States, the U.S. the USA or America, is in Central North America and borders Canada and Mexico.

The United States of America has a population of 310 millon and is a Federal constitutional presidential republic. The capital is Washington, D.C. which has a population of 0.6 million. The largest city is New York City which has a population of 8.4 million. The United States of America is 13th on the Human Development Index. The United Sates of America has the largest national economy in the world.

The United States of America is a member of the UN, the WTO, NATO, the G8 and the G20.
