Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan, officially the Republic of Kazakhstan, is in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. It borders Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
Kazakhstan has a population of 16.2 million and is Presidential Republic. The capital is Astana which has a population of 0.7 million. The largest city is Almaty which has a population of 1.4 million. Kazakhstan is 82nd on the Human Development Index.
Kazakhstan is a member of the UN and a observer government in the WTO.
