Cameroon, officially the Republic of Cameroon, is in central-western Africa and borders Nigeria, Chad, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and the Republic of Congo.
Cameroon has a population of 18.9 million and is Republic. The capital is Yaoundé which has a population of 1.4 million. The largest city is Douala which has a population of 2.0 million. Cameroon is 153rd on the Human Development Index.
