Timetric Reports Citation Policy
Citation policy
You may cite reports published by Timetric Ltd subject to our citation policy and provided that:
- All portions of text identify the author of the report and Timetric Ltd as the source
- The following copyright statement is affixed to all graphics, diagrams, graphs or tables:
© Timetric Ltd/Report Author plus year of publication
where Report Author is the name of the author of the report:
- When quoting an author, the full name and title of the author must be used, and Timetric must be referenced: for instance, "Horace Dediu, in a recently-published report for Timetric, writes..."
- Where possible, any use of content on websites or in online publications must be accompanied by a link to Timetric (http://timetric.com/).
You may use limited and insubstantial quotes and data from Timetric Reports for external purposes, as long as:
- the use is in the normal line of your business
- it does not form part of a regular pattern of use
- if the use is in a press release, Timetric is expressly acknowledged (with due prominence) as the source of the data, the Report Author is acknowledged as the author of the report, and release authorization (accompanied by a copy of the press release or the relevant section of the press release) is requested, and received, from Timetric at contact@timetric.com during UK business hours. Such permission will not be unreasonably withheld or delayed.
Citation Guidelines
- Timetric must be acknowledged as the source of the data or quote used.
- Citations must be accurate or verbatim quotes.
- Citations must not be used out of context.
- Quotes or extracts should not be used to criticise another company's products or services or to set two companies' products or services against each other.
